New Hope Charity Gala: Artists play for peace
We need peace. We need empathy. We want to help!
The events of the last weeks show us how strong and warm-hearted people are, and how they stick together to support and help people around them.
The Nova Orchester Wien (NOW!) under the direction of William Garfield Walker, dedicates the benefit concert, which takes place in the framework of the Vienna Nova Festival, to support the people in need - with the hope that they can return to normal, peaceful life as soon as possible.
The Nova Orchester Wien was formed in the capital of music, during the particularly difficult times for artists during the Covid-19 pandemic. The orchestra unites musicians from all corners of the world and shows how music and a common goal can unite people.
Performed will be selected works by Beethoven, Paganini, Bizet et. al.
The finalists of the international Worldvision Music Contest, in which more than 3000 musicians from 78 countries participated, will perform as soloists:

Tao-Yuan Hsiaо, violin (Croatia)
Iskandar Widjaja, violin (Indonesia)

Robert Bily, piano (Czech Republic)
Ruslan Talas, violin (Kazakhstan)
The ticket proceeds will be donated to UNICEF Austria for the benefit of children in Ukraine affected by the war.
